The 2019 NFL Draft is going to be in Nashville this year and I couldn’t be more excited.  The NFL Draft is one of my favorite sporting events.  I love seeing a team’s strategy play out like a real-life chess board and I love seeing player’s dreams come true even more.  What comes with these dreams is a contract and one that will pay out a lot of money.  For many of these players, they become instant millionaires.  But for others drafted in the later rounds, they won’t be instant millionaires.  They will earn a great income, but they are going to be fighting for a roster spot every year to do so. 

One of the questions we often get is “What does a financial plan look like”? Without actually seeing one, it can be difficult to wrap one’s head around. So look no further than this sample financial plan I completed for Jim and Pam Halpert (of “The Office” fame). While they lived in Pennsylvania for the show, in this plan they are living in Tennessee.

As tax returns are getting filed and refunds are getting processed, there has been an outcry from many saying that Trump’s tax cuts are actually making them pay more in taxes. In fact, many politicians on the other side of the aisle are seizing the opportunity to make a point that benefits their agenda.

This may be the most personal and vulnerable post I will ever type. As a financial advisor, I have an in-depth view on client’s personal lives.
